Today is World Mental Health Day, reminding us all that mental wellbeing is just as important as physical safety on site.
This year’s theme, “Access to services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies,” encourages everyone to recognise the importance of supporting our friends and colleagues, especially when the world feels uncertain or pressures build up.
At MAC we recognise that life, both inside and outside of work, can present challenges that affect mental health. Working in construction can be demanding and we’re committed to creating a workplace where people feel supported, heard, and able to speak openly about mental health. We’re proud to have a team of trained Mental Health First Aiders who are there to listen and help when needed.
Let’s all take a moment today to check in with ourselves and those around us. A simple conversation can make a big difference.
